Demonstration in Berlin against the amendment of the EEG

On 2 June 2016, a demonstration organized jointly by the Federal Association for Renewable Energy, the German Farmers' Union and the IG Metallküste took place in Berlin. Around 8,000 demonstrators had come to protest against the planned amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act. The motto was "Energiewende retten", because many experts from the industry agree that the federal government is slowing down the expansion of renewable energies and thus both jobs are jeopardized as well as losing sight of the climatic issues. The energy needs to be pushed forward more quickly, only then could jobs be preserved and our nature protected.
Apart from the representatives of EasyWind, employees from the sister companies GEO mbH from Langenhorn and OffTec Base GmbH & Co. KG took part in the demonstration from the GreenTec campus in Enge-Sande.
